I am a NZ citizen in Australia and my partner is on subclass 461, can I get a home loan?

When one of the partner is a New Zealand citizen and the other one is on a temporary resident’s 461 subclass visa, we can borrow up to 95% of the total value of your house.

As a holder of subclass 461 visa you do not have to pay higher interest rates or higher fees than any Australian citizen or resident.

The New Zealand citizen doesn't need to seek the government's approval, but the subclass 461 visa holders would need to get an approval from the Australian Foreign Investment and Review Board (FIRB). We can get this approval on your behalf.
